Chongqing Attractions
For its long histoyr, Chongiqng city has a plenthora of natural and man-made landscapes. Well-known as ‘mountain city’, it has enjoyed a surge in tourism. 
Chongqing Dock is an ideal starting place for the Yangtze River Cruise, a memorable sightseeing experience taking in some of China’s most beautiful rivers and mountains. Dazu Rock Carvings are representative of Chinese grotto art. Many historical World War Two buildings and sites can also still be found in Chongqing.

» Chaotianmen Square, Chongqing

Chaotianmen means “receiving the lord from Heaven”. Built in the summer of 1998 and coveri ng an area of 800,00 square meters, the ship-shaped square is one of the largest roof squares in China and it serves the purposes of sightseeing, transport and river bank protection.

» Ci Qi Kou, Chongqing

Ci Qi Kou is an ancient town in Chongqing city with a history of more than thousand years, just as people always said “One flagtone raod, and one thousand years’ Ciqikou”. It was named as it had supplies large sum of chinaware dating during Qing and Ming Dynasty.

» Dazu Rock Carving, Chongqing

Dazu Rock Carvings is the religious carvings of rock carved reproduction during the late Tang Dynasty and early Song Dynasty, giving priority to Buddhist themes.


» Northern Hot Springs Park, Chongqing

The Northern Hot Spring Park of Chongqing is located in the Beibei District, facing the Jialing River in the north and leaning against Jinyun Mountain. It is said to be the earliest hot spring discovered in China.


» Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum

Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum is located at the west part of the People’s Square of Chongqing. Occupying the area of 30,000 square meters, the museum was completed and opened to the public on Jun 18, 2005 with the construction area of 42,500 square meters.
